Aron Wahl, a Polish Jew, arrived in 1924 from Hanover in Germany. He settled in Antwerp where he worked as a diamond cutter. On 18 July, he was sent to the Les Mazures, a forced labour camp in the French Ardennes. He was put on the “Mazurois” transport which, when it arrived at Mechelen became Transport 15 to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Aged 30, no records other than his name in the transport list exist and the circumstances of his death are unknown to us.
