An Austrian Jew who came to Belgium in 1932 and lived in Antwerp at 49 Somersstraat. He was the oldest person to be seized in the raid of the night of 15-16 August 1942. Eighty-three percent of the people on Transport 4 were gassed immediately, leaving a deportee of this age no chance of survival at all.
