Mordka Stainfeld, a Jew from Warsaw, arrived in Belgium in 1890. Domiciled in Antwerp, he was arrested as result of the ration stamp trap. At least 20 Jews were arrested in the Provinciestraat where he lived. His name was put down for Transport 12 on 26 September 1942. Mordka Stainfeld, 65, left on Transport 12 on 10 October. Obviously at his age he would not have survived beyond the disembarkation at Auschwitz-Birkenau.
